Even with the release of 5.01 several users have reported to me serious issues with battery life – across various devices. I picked up some discussions around the imminent release of 5.1. beta 2 to developers that issues may still exist. I have noticed a definite drop in life span on battery charge to the point that I have a car charger for Iphone if roaming from the office. It would be great if this issue could be addressed once and for all – looks like we will have to wait a while longer.
Noted that shop staff in the Apple shop Belfast had additional power sources on their devices to process sales!!
Perhaps Santa might bring a battery booster.
