In the style of the Apprentice I was faced with the situation where a badly behaved application had to be sacrificed for the good of the others on a machine. In this case IE9. The application had become so unstable that it got to the point of not even starting. I had been using Safari and Chrome much more recently but in some cases their quirks (noticeably an issue with xml files) had been causing a concern on a project. So it was time to bite the bullet and when I was facing an issue with lotuslive meeting setups and needed a reboot – the decision was made. The good of testing the app was outweighed by its flakiness.
