Need Microsoft Office Picture Manager but have Office 2013 ?

Yes don’t you just hate it when a utility or tool that you have come to rely on disappears from the software applications that you use. A client asked me about Picture Manager after they got a new PC with Office 2013. After digging around I realised that Microsoft had dropped it from that release so the question was what to recommend to the client. However a bit a searching later I discovered that Picture Manager is actually a component of the Sharepoint Designer 2010 and with a little ingenuity you can get it from there.

Download the version appropriate for your OS platform from here

The key here is when you run the installer deselect everything and leave only Picture Manager like this

Sit back and wait until the install finishes and you have your beloved Picture Manager back.
