This was an oddity that I noted purely because I wanted to print something from email this morning after repairing a printer that was opffline for some time but that was previously the default printer for all apps on the machine.
Other apps were printing successfully but Outlook was the one that made me check the printing configuration. The answer – no default printer set. I’m sure that the default printer was changed to another printer for the duration that the other was offline waiting for parts to repair it.
However a click to select it as the default printer and – no more Outlook error.
