Sage line 50 V 2010 – Sage client starts and then says data has been accessed with a newer version of software – on checking for updates it says there are none and you can’t go any further. Having seen this not so long ago I thought I would mention here what the problem is. You need to look for the watermark.xml file within the Sage accounts folder and subfolders and rename it. Restart your sage client and in you go. Thanks Ian for confirming the problem. A problem duplicated is a problem fixed twice – or something like that 🙂
