Rebooted Windows 7 64 bit machine this morning after applying some updates – for Nuance products. After the reboot worked away for a few hours before noticing on the background of the primary monitor a message stating the version of windows and the build number plus the message “This copy of Windows in not genuine”. Thought about this for a moment and then right-clicked on my computer selected properties and waited for the Windows Experience index rating to be refreshed (only 4.7). Before this refreshed Windows activation status and product id were empty. Once the rating refreshed the message – Windows is activated was displayed and the onscreen warning for “This copy of windows in not genuine” disappeared. Whopee.
