Microsoft have announced the release candidate for HyperV server 2012 here. Many IT managers will be looking to see what features made it and which didn’t. So if you are interested head on over for your 1.5GB download of the ISO image.
From what I’ve seen of the interest around the release condidate – it seems to be focused on VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure) but this is interesting given the range of other implementations for sites. My interest will be to compare and contrast against VMware for an existing HyperV client who was some additional functionality and manageability.
