Nagios 3.3.1 upgrade – nice

Had cause this week to upgrade a veritable old installation of Nagios running as a vm on Ubuntu. I had planned to create a brand new instance but I had some specialised tests that I was going to redo. So instead – after cloning the VM I decided to give the manual upgrade from 3.0.3 to 3.3.1 a whirl. Upgrade actually only takes a few minutes – only 1 road bump at the end of the upgrade which didn’t seeme to affect it and now I have the lovely fresh layout that 3.3.1 brings along with some other nice features and fixes. If you are running Nagios and haven’t taken a look at the new layouts and themes available – treat yourself – its a sight for sore eyes.
