OWA 2007 signatures with an image

I’ve been asked about this several times and have written about the size limits on signatures set up in the OWA web client. A client asked this morning about how to include a logo along with their owa web signature
DISCLAIMER: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, AUTHOR ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE USE OF THIS INFORMATION!!!
If you don’t have a web server where you can place the logo you wish to include  and your OWA exchange server is web facing ….
1.) On your exchange server navigate to the following path C:Program FilesMicrosoftExchange ServerClientAccessOwa
2.) Create a folder called Images
3.) Copy the image file or files you would like to make available
4.) Sign into OWA
5.) Create a signature
6.) Open a new IE window, and type in the following in the address bar
(note: this is an example, you will have to change addresses and file
names accordingly. The address was sanitized for security)
this will open the image in IE.
7.) Right Click on the Image and select Copy
8.) Go back into OWA and your signature in process and paste in your image details.
9.) Once the image is in the signature you can resize and manipulate however you need.
If you have a web site and happy enough to publish your logo or image – ftp it to the web site and  replace the url  mentioned above with the one from your website. Makes sure you test that you can retrieve and display the image by entering the url into your browser !!
Obviously this is not a solution for larger clients and there are third party products available out there for that market
