Recently I was working remotely on a laptop that was touch enabled. After logging in as a new user – I was presented with the series of Windows 8.1 popups that assume you can swipe the screen as per the instructions. Well when you are on remotely – that is not such as simple option – however I found a simple solution that hopefully will help other support staff facing this. In this case using the WIN and tab key combination twice. I understand this also works for virtual machines so doubly useful. So next time you see this I hope you can get rid of this annoying windows “feature”
