Pour some Sugar on your customers

Sugar CRM has been used by a wide range of companies to provide client management capabilities. As a new venture begins I find myself returning to Sugar to allow for better communication with new staff and outside agencies. The thing I like about Sugar are the range of options – in house hosting on windows or linux through to fully outsourced in the cloud. Its important to be able to give clients choices including supported options when selecting a tool like this. I’m hoping that Sugar will allow the new venture to deliver a better more personal service but always bear in mind – its quality not quantity of contacts that matter.

The current release is 6.3 and


Key enhancements to Sugar 6.3 are:

  • Email archiving
  • Simpler data importing
  • Importing contacts from Google
  • More Sugar Logic capabilities
  • Quick edits capabilities
  • Performance and response time improvements

Note that some of those enhancements related to the hosted service.
