Its been a bit quiet on the local VMware Partner Exchange scene in the last while so its great to see that some events are being arranged in the UK. The last event I attended was in Dublin and was useful getting to meet some of the reps and technical contacts.
There are two events – one in Reading and one in Leeds on the 10th and 29th May respectively. Looking forward to some deep technical presentations and announcements and also opportunities to explore skills improvement.
The events are partner only – which is a pity if you have customers who are deeply involved in the Vmware infrastructure implementations you do but perhaps its the nature of the event that its really only relevant to VMware partners. Hope to see some representation from Ireland there as there are not that many partners registered from NI.
Looks like a great venue at the Queens Hotel and perhaps can squeeze in a quick tour of Leeds and meet up with some business associates.
