Pants!

After upgrading to Office 2010 64 bit as part of my migration to Windows 7 64 Bit – I realised that there was an issue with Blackberry Desktop Manager and synchronisation. The message you get starting the app is “Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfil the messaging request”

Well turns out that this is an issue that has been known about and has been bubbling along on the RIM forums since the Outlook 2010 beta program.

And the pants bit

Overview

Currently, Microsoft Outlook 2010 is not supported with BlackBerry Desktop Manager 5.0.1. As a result, the BlackBerry Desktop Manager may report that Microsoft Outlook is not installed, or it may not be able to open the message store.
