This problem has cropped up a few times for me and happened again for a client today. They thought it was amusing to have an error that refers to SQLDUMPER i.e in this case “SQLDUMPER library failed initialization. Your installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with. Please uninstall then re-run setup to correct to correct this problem.”
The issue occurs after removing Outlook 2007 BCM and rebooting. And the solution is quite simple – remove the SQL Server VSS Writer and reboot. No need to let SQL keep on dumping on you.
